Welcome to our crazy life....

When I grew up I had the wonderful benefit of living a bike ride away from both sets of grandparents. Not so lucky are our kids. Even for the actual ones that live in Atlanta, it's still a about an hours drive away! So, this blog will have to serve as the next best thing to riding our bikes to see the grandparents. Enjoy watching our kids learn and grow one day at a time...

Updates about the weekend and week to come

1. Project Dance Atlanta was this past weekend and it was a success even with the rain on Saturday. We had about 120 dancers come this year, some dancers that came last year and some new faces too. Everyone got to meet the new little one and my Mom came to watch the older 3. My friend Angella was here to to help me. Joshua made it through the weekend with flying colors. He ate, slept, and stayed dry. I wore him for part of the day on Saturday and by the look on his face he couldn't have been any happier. He even slept in the pack and play the whole evening on Friday while I was interviewing/hosting our Friday night show! He's a good baby. I was proud of myself, I took it as easy as I could. Didn't pick up too many things, drank lots of water and Angella kept me fed. The only sad part was when it rained on Saturday and we had to stop dancing. I had Joshua so bundled up in blankets he didn't even realize what was going on! But having wet feet the whole evening wasn't fun for Mommy or Daddy. My mom tried to make me take her rain boots, I didn't, I should have! It was another great weekend for all of the dancers, thanks to everyone who prayed and to Refuge....we couldn't have done it without all the companies help!

2. Monday, so yesterday was Monday and wow, 10 loads of laundry were done. It take so much to clean up after a long weekend event.

3. Today is Tuesday and I've still got lots to pack-up from the weekend and it is FALL!!! I walked David out to the car this morning and it was FREEZING! looks like more laundry is in my future, time to get the winter clothes out.

4. the schedule-I've got one week and 2 days till I return to teaching. I'm getting everything set up for Joshua to have his first bottle Friday. We will see how that goes. I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. It seems like only yesterday he was born. We've started school back after our break for the baby and Project Dance. It's nice to be back to normal. Refuge has two shows coming up so there is a lot of work to do to get that organized. I'll try to post our poster later. So we go from working on on project to another! and I've got to get back in shape because I'm dancing in those shows!!!

5. Madie is doing well, growing and starting to form real sentences. Caleb is much better now, still has a runny nose sometimes, I think he has allergies. Elizabeth is still my best helper and having fun. Joshua got his second bath yesterday now that his circumcision is healed. Wanted to take a picture but I didn't have enough hands! He's on a 3 hour schedule, but still trying to get him to sleep longer at night. Last night was our first rough night, he woke up every 2 hours, not to eat but just to cry. I figure after being such an angel last weekend, he deserves to have a little bit of fussiness! It was great for him to be back home to take his naps in his crib.

6. no pictures, but I am working on getting a picture of all of them together....pray for me! I'll have to post the out takes from that too, I know it will be funny.

much love to everyone, just wanted to update you all on how things are going.
