Welcome to our crazy life....
When I grew up I had the wonderful benefit of living a bike ride away from both sets of grandparents. Not so lucky are our kids. Even for the actual ones that live in Atlanta, it's still a about an hours drive away! So, this blog will have to serve as the next best thing to riding our bikes to see the grandparents. Enjoy watching our kids learn and grow one day at a time...

Diaper Fun '09
It's works if you fast forward it to a minute, thanks Mom! And yes, the question still remains "why do we buy the kids toys when they play with things like this?"
7am Presents
So Caleb decided 7am was the best time to open his birthday presents on his actual b-day!

Caleb's Special day
Here's some pictures of Caleb's special day he had with the boys on Saturday. He had no idea what would happen, we kept it a surprise till he got there. So when Caleb got up that morning he was super excited. He laid his clothes out, took a bath and let Madie help wash his hair. Then he took a 6 pack of IBC root beer, in the bottles, and David drove him to pick up his friend Keith (actually our friend Keith, but Caleb requested him when we asked him who he would like to hang out with for his b-day). The destination was Eric and Jen's house where they played on Eric's new Wii. They bowled, boxed, and played tennis. Ate pizza and cookies, he was on such a sugar rush when they got home! Then we had a b-day dinner celebration with his grandparents, complete with a homemade birthday cake. Elizabeth made the cake, I iced it. I lit the candles and we started singing but he blew them out before we finished! So I lit them again and this time he waited till the end of the song to make a wish and blow them out again! He had a great day!

New Beds
So I finally got my camera cord in the mail. So here are some pictures of our new sleeping arrangements. Madie graduated to a big girl baby in preparation for the new little one. Caleb gets the top bunk now, he was super excited. And Elizabeth finally has her own room (when David is not using the corner for his office!) with a DOUBLE bed!

Caleb Sings the Blues
So I went to check to see what Caleb was up to in the front yard and got on funny performance! Turn your volumn up loud, you don't want to miss these lyrics (note, Caleb is currently playing left handed even though he is right handed!)
