A Slash of Blue

A slash of Blue-
A sweep of Gray-
Some scarlet patches on the way,
Compose an Evening sky.
A little purple slipped between-
Some Ruby Trousers hurried on-
A Wave of Gold-
A Bank of Day-
This just makes out the Morning Sky.
