My First Piano Lesson

Mrs. Katie, my guitar teacher, said that I should start piano to help me with my dynamics for guitar. The day arrived. I sat down to start and Mrs.Katie told me what to do and how to play. Once I started to play, I noticed that this would be very fun. And it was! When I got home I wanted to keep playing. So, that night I practiced a little. Ok fine, maybe a little more than a little, I practiced 30 minutes.And I was good,NO, I Was Grrreat! I like piano because piano makes me exited and its just very fun to play.

A first

Yesterday I had to wash Madeleine's yellow blanket. It was drying when it was time for her nap. I laid her down with another blanket only to have her continue whining instead of sleep. After 30 minutes of this I checked on her blanket and it was dry enough for her to use. The moment I brought her warm yellow blanket to her and wrapped her up in it she stopped crying and went to sleep. So after 3 kids we have experienced a first. This is the first time one of my kids has been attached to something. For madie it is the yellow blanket made by Colleen for her brother Caleb. Too precious.

I must love houses!

So this is another gorgeous house I pass on the way to Elizabeth's music lesson. I wish the picture did it better justice then it does. There's 2 big oak trees on the left with a hamock between them. And an old reddish barn on the right. Perfect country living but not really in the country.
